We were approached by the owners of this beautiful home-to-be to build frames and install membrane to create a high-performance house that would be comfortable even when the wind from the sea is blowing. This partial renovation with breathtaking views was certainly a great project to work on.

Our Process: From Knockdown to Completion

Owner Builder Consultation

We met with the owner builder to understand his needs and how we could help build the home he envisioned. It became clear that a weathertight and airtight membrane solution was the right fit for a home perched above the ocean on Maroubra's cliffs.

Pro Clima Extasana Membrane Installation

We specified and installed the Pro Clima Extasana (Proclamax) membrane, a complete windproof membrane system that creates a continuous airtight and weathertight barrier across the entire building envelope.

Frame Construction and Subfloor Repairs

The existing lower floor and first-level subfloor required structural repairs before the new frame could be built. Our full team worked hands-on alongside the owner to ensure design met reality at every stage.

Quality Carpentry to Highest Standards

Square, plumb, level and straight. Applying precision carpentry techniques throughout, our team constructed the designer home frame to the highest quality standards, ready for the membrane wrap and final finishes.
